R.I.P Philip Seymour Hoffman

Well, there’s not much I can say, except that I will miss him. I deal with the consequences of drug addiction every day, but it makes it no less tragic that he couldn’t overcome it in the end.

As an actor, he was unparalleled, so I’ll just leave these, my favorite scenes, by way of tribute.

Punch Drunk Love – It’s amazing. But don’t watch this in front of your kids. Seriously.

The Big Lebowski – It’s a supporting role, but he nails it.

Capote – This is his masterpiece, as far as I am concerned. He was never as magnetic, and he disappears into the character.
